Quarantine DIY Face Masks
Times are changing quickly, and a lot of our beautiful clients are quarantine at home. Well ladies and gentleman, this is an excellent time to work on your skin. No one is going to see you, so downtime is no longer an issue. One of my favorite things to do when I am home for an extended amount of time is a face mask. Face masks can be customized to whatever your skin issue may be: is your skin dry, oily, acne prone or are you trying to improve its tone and texture. In addition, take time while you have your face mask on to relax. You can light some candles and play some spa music on your pandora and drift away for a moment. Use the time with your mask to relax and meditate. With everything goin on in the world, the stress and uncertainty can affect your skin. Here are my favorite at home masks:
ZO Enzyme Peel: This is great to remove dead skin cells and renew skin. It can be left on for a few hours or if you have oilier skin it can be left on overnight. It can be purchased on our online store at: https://zoskinhealth.com/products
ZO Sulfur Mask: This is another great mask for oilier skin types. Sulfur is an oldie but goodie for acne. A weekly or bi weekly sulfur mask can help acne prone skin stay clear and can also help with oil control. This can also be purchased on our online store: https://zoskinhealth.com/products
Oat Meal Hydrating Mask: This is great for sensitive dry skin. As we still have some cooler days, your skin can often crave moisture and nourishment. Here are your ingredients: 1/2 avocado, 1 TBSP Honey, and handful of oats or oat bran. Leave on for 30 min to an hour to replenish your skin’s moisture.
Turmeric Face Mask: This is a great mask for uneven skin tone and texture. As we get closer to warmer days, this can help calm skin that may be getting more reactive with the dirt and oil or summer. The ingredients include: 1 tablespoon of natural, plain yogurt, 1 tablespoon of honey, 1 tablespoon of turmeric powder. Leave on for 30 min to an hour to leave your skin silky smooth and even.
Egg White Mask: This is an oldie but goodie to refine pores. Here are your ingredients: 1 egg white, 1 tablespoon of honey, and A little squeeze of lemon juice. Leave in for 30 minutes to an hour to help tighten skin and refine pores.
Have fun with these recipes. This is also a great project to do with the kiddies at home while everyone is quarantine. Enjoy!!!!!
